Aim

AIM — The Sikkens Foundation is an independent cultural foundation with the aim of stimulating those cultural and scientific developments in society in which color plays a specific role. It does this in the first place by awarding the Sikkens Prize, a crystal prism which symbolizes the phenomenon of color, and by initiating and/or supporting projects in the field of the application of color and color studies. The Sikkens Foundation emphatically does not operate as a fund which means that it cannot respond to applications for the sponsorship of cultural or other projects. However, it does like to be informed of interesting projects and developments in the field of color studies and coloration.
