TRACKING COLORS — CENTRAAL MUSEUM, UTRECHT 2003 — Color is an interesting and fun subject to teach in the classroom. In cooperation with the Sikkens Foundation, the Centraal Museum in Utrecht developed the free edu- cational CD-ROM, Tracking Colors, for children in prima- ry education aged 8-12 (years 5-8). All the primary schools receive this CD-ROM, Tracking Colors, free of charge. With the programme, the pupils learn everything about color in a playful way. The programme is very at- tractive in graphic terms. It also contains many surprising elements. It is easy to install and works under the menu screens. Back to index
Tracking Colors is an educational game in the form of a world where you can learn all sorts of things about color. The aim is to catch all the chameleons. Look for them in the six different colored areas which can be accessed from the inner courtyard. There are six chameleons hid- den in each area. In order to find a chameleon you have to complete a task. If you do this correctly the chameleon appears and you can catch it. When you have caught all the chameleons you have the best chance of winning the bonus game. Tracking Colors is freeware. This means that you can download it, play, upload a copy or burn it free of charge Download text as pdf
